  • Supportive
  • Proactive
  • Attentive
  • Friendly
  • Hard working
Describe how you work in a team with your partners.

I play for the good of the team. I am not a selfish player. I support my teammates on and off the court because a good relationship off the court transfers to a better team on the court.

Athletic highlights and how you felt when you received them:

Dawson County News Athlete of the Year Nominee
– When I was nominated for this award, I was quite honestly in shock. I just moved this year to the school and to be recognized for my hard work all season on and off the court was an amazing feeling. Particularly in the sport of volleyball, players rely on their teammates. Teams that succeed are the ones that play for each other. When I was nominated for this award, I was ultimately thankful for my teammates for bringing out the best in me.

DCHS Sportsmanship Award
– I pride myself in being a good person in addition to being a good player. When I was presented with this award I was proud and humbled because it recognized my character not just my athletic ability.

– Similar to the Athlete of the Year Award, I was extremely grateful for my teammates because without them I would not have been able to showcase my skills and hard work.

What are your interests outside of sports? Why do you like them?

I enjoy trying new foods and new restaurants. Since I was little, my family has always loved cuisine. Growing up we were constantly trying new things in new cities when traveling and testing out crazy recipes at home. I am, to say the least, a foodie.

I also enjoy hiking. My life can be hectic sometimes and being able to relax for a couple hours by myself or with a friend really helps clear my mind. Hiking for me is a win win, exercise and being able to take a step back, clear my mind, and appreciate God’s works.

Who are your role models and why?

My role model is my father. He moved from Hungary when he was young and built something for himself from the ground up. He built a life for himself, my mom, and my brother and I. I want to grow up to have the drive and discipline that he has in order to build the life I want for myself.

Involvement in other sports or extracurricular. Why is it important for you?

I play soccer in addition to volleyball. Soccer has been something I’ve played since I was 3. It was my first sport. Soccer provides a great workout and really encourages teams to work hard for their teammates.

Academic highlights and how you felt when you received them?

Scholar Athlete Award
– Receiving this award really put into perspective the importance of excelling on and off the court. Being a student-athlete is a huge responsibility and being able to balance both and be recognized for it was a great feeling.

What program would you like to attend in school?

I am interested in either Pre-Med or Criminal Justice.

How do you envision your school life in college/university?

I plan on making the most of my college experience. I want to build a foundation for my future. Education is something extremely important to me because it is what is going to carry with me through my life. I plan on playing volleyball and giving my all for my team. I am going to take what I learned in the classroom and on the court to shape me into the person I want to be.
